Paris Hotel Recommendation

So I have yet to pin down our entire itinerary (as per my first post question) but I'm pretty sure we will be starting our trip with 6 nights in France at the end of August.
I would love some tips on hotels - I have my heart set on Montmartre, must have AC, balcony with view, comfortable beds, would prefer a place with a bar/restaurant.
Hoping to stay at under $275 per night. Any recommendations much appreciated.

I'm an apartment renter, so can't help with hotels. One thing to note is that August is still vacation time for the locals. There will always be grocers, boulangeries, etc. open for the basic needs, but if you have your heart set on any specific restaurants, you'll want to reserve early.

Yes, the popular places that aren't closed in August will book up early, and expect they'll also close 1-2 weeks, too.
