Thoughts on going in February? Any suggestions on where to stay?

The weather will be better on the Southern side of the Island. Siracusa is a nice spot in February.

We went in April once and the weather was very good. We were on the southern part.

At the end of February/beginning of March, there's an almond blossom festival in Agrigento. There are almond trees all over the area, including at the Valley of Temples, and we were told that when the trees are in bloom and the petals start to fall, it looks like snow!
