Sorry to ask...again?

I like pics in my reports and Im working on part 2 of my recent Italy report, I know ive asked before, but is there a limit to the number of pics? I looked at one of my last reports and counted 25? I hope to post part 2 tonight. Thank you!

As far as I know, no limit at all, and the more the better. There IS a limit on the size of the photos, but you will get a warning about that and can resize them with whatever software you use, if needed.

I have it set to 20. That is per post, not per thread. So a thread can contain unlimited photos.

We also have a media gallery where you can upload photos to an album. Then these can be displayed individually in posts.

The first way is easier. Upload up to 20 photos per post in your thread.

I posted part 2 in Italy last night and it looks like it imbeded 30, 3 are also included as attachments?

I count 22 photos in the first post of the thread. So maybe I looked in the wrong place in the admin panel for the limit. Joe may be right! I do remember removing the limit at some point.

2023, Spring in Northern Italy 1

April 11-25, 2023 Northern Italy in springtime, sounds like a perfectly ok place to celebrate a birthday....any birthday! We were going to hold off returning to Italy until my wife's birthday in the Fall, then 2 weddings conflicted with those plans ....so I volunteered to spend my birthday...

Yep, 30 photos in that post!

The reason those attachment thumbnails show up is because they were not inserted in the post. I usually try to correct these because it isn’t easy to figure out which ones don’t display full size. I won’t do that now for you because you are working on it but I’ll have a look later.

OBVIOUSLY THERE IS NO LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF IMAGES THAT CAN BE UPLOADED TO A POST. And that is probably a good thing. But I will review my admin panel settings. If there were a limit the forum software would tell you this when uploading.
