We will watch almost anything that Jimmy McGovern is involved in and his new short series on BBC--Time-more than justifies our attention. A three-part prison series, it boasts a dream cast--Sean Bean and Stephen Graham as the leads and Siobhan Finneran, Sharon Johnston and David Calder in supporting roles. Disturbing but gripping....

Just finished all three episodes of Time (available on the BBC iPlayer)...really outstanding television--acting and writing all first-rate. I hope it will be available in the US before long.
