Made it through the Lockdown in the Luberon and am thinking that by September, it might be possible to travel easily again. Hope so. I have spent quite a bit of time in the Eastern Loire, but don't really know the western bit from Tours to Nantes. The little I've read sounds very interesting. I'll be driving with a friend and a dog and am looking for a dog-friendly place to stay, preferably a small house + fenced garden for 1-2 weeks.
I'd like suggestions on where to stay and things to do in day trips from an easily accessible home base. I am considering a couple of days in Nantes around the end of the trip and a leisurely drive back down the Atlantic side of France, a stop in Limoges, hopefully, to find some porcelain I've been wanting, then back to home in the Luberon.
Any suggestions are most welcome.
